Dr. Brian Hochstein
Brian
L. Hochstein grew up in Clear Lake City. He attended Texas A & M
University and received his Bachelor of Arts in Biology. He received
his D.D.S. from Baylor College of Dentistry in 1992. The following
year he studied in the Department of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery
at Baylor College of Dentistry. In 1993, he began working as a
general dentist in private practice. He returned to Baylor College
of Dentistry in 1997 to pursue his certificate in Pediatric
Dentistry. Dr. Hochstein is a Diplomate of the American Board of
Pediatric Dentistry. He maintains hospital privileges at Children's
Medical Center as well as Physician's DaySurgery Center near BUMC.
Dr. Hochstein enjoys soccer, working in his yard and traveling with
his family.
Dr. Silvia King
Dr.
Silvia King has been a pediatric dentist for over 25 years. She
received her postdoctoral degree in Pediatric Dentistry from the
University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio. Since
1996, Dr. King has been an Assistant Clinical Professor at Baylor
College of Dentistry, where she trains residents and dental students
in clinical pediatric dentistry. She and her husband, David, live in
Dallas with their four year old Italian Greyhound named Melanie.
They enjoy traveling all over the world. Dr. Silvia King is
originally from Brazil, but now calls Texas her home.
Dr. Jennifer Rutledge
Born and raised in
the small town of Dumas, Arkansas, Dr. Rutledge
earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from the University
of Arkansas at Monticello. She then attended dental school at the
University of Missouri-Kansas City School of Dentistry, where she
received her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree in 2006. Following
dental school, Dr. Rutledge worked in private practice in the Dallas
area for three years. All but six month of that time were spent
exclusively treating children. Her passion for children's dentistry
led her to a two year pediatric specialty residency at Maimonides
Medical Center in Brooklyn, New York. She was Chief Resident and
completed her residency at the end of June. Dr. Rutledge was anxious
to return to Texas and thrilled to have joined our team! Her professional memberships include the American
Academy of Pediatric Dentistry, American Dental Association, New
York State Dental Association and the Second District Dental
Society. Dr. Rutledge and her husband, Jeff, have one beautiful
daughter, Jordan, and a yorkie named Bella. In her free time, she
likes to watch movies, do art with her daughter and travel with her
husband. The Rutledge family is very happy to returning home to the
Dallas area.
Dr. Paul T. Field
Dr. Paul T. Field
was born and raised on the golden coast of California. After
graduating Suma Cum Laude from California State University Long
Beach with a degree in Biology and Chemistry, Dr. Field completed
Dental School at UCLA School of Dentistry. It was while helping out
with children’s dental missions that Dr. Field realized his passion
for helping children achieve better oral health. Dr. Field and his
wife Sunny moved out to Texas after graduating from UCLA in order to
complete specialty training in Pediatric Dentistry at Baylor College
of Dentistry. It was through his residency and working through
clinics at Children’s Medical Center and Texas Scottish Rite
Children’s Hospital that Dr. Field gained valuable experience with
many different populations of children, including children with
special needs. Dr. Field has received national recognition for his
research on xylitol gum at the 63rd
American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry annual session. Dr. Field,
his wife, and their French bulldog “Batman” have happily welcomed
the arrival of Sadie Marie.
